Underlay System - How It Works

• During fermentation oxygen is consumed creating a "mini-vacuum" that pulls the flexible Underlay tightly against the feed surface eliminating air pockets.
• The silage adheres to the thin Underlay sheet rather than the thick top layer sheet, increasing Recycle Value of the thick top layer sheet.
• Underlay is a 2nd fire wall in case of damage to the top layer.
• Proven System - in use for 30+ years in Germany and other parts of Europe.
